Job Summary: Responsible for operation of the Funitel, loading and unloading guests while ensuring compliance with the Squaw Valley Safety policy.

Applicants must be 18 years of age.
Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:
1. Load and unload guests into the funitel cars.
2. Complete daily logbook and other reports as required.
3. Responsible for snow clearance at station areas.
4. Advise manager of any condition or occurrence that adversely affects the safety of the operation.
5. Familiar with basic function of drive terminal machinery and lower terminal.
6. Responsible for keeping loading/unloading areas and cabins clean of garbage.
7. Will take emergency action when necessary.
8. Assist with maintenance and inspections as established by the manufacturer's operations instructions manual.

1. Knowledgeable about all aspects of Squaw Valley or be able to locate information. Should have general knowledge of Alpine Meadows.
Education and Experience:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Three to six months experience working with public, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Excellent understanding of ski lift
4. Public speaking experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 95% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift. Must be capable of frequently carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently be exposed to outside weather conditions and extreme cold.
Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the work place is usually loud.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
